The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs basketball team (Gunnison, UT), was overwhelmed 71-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Manti Templars (Manti, UT)

The Templars now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Draper APA for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Manti will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-45 non-league win over Duchesne (Duchesne, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.

The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Braves come into the 2A Region 16 battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, North Summit trounced Wasatch (Heber City, UT), 58-55, in a non-league battle.
