The Kearsley Hornets basketball team (Flint, MI), was overwhelmed 48-23 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI)
The Hawks now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bendle for a Genesee Area - Red battle on Friday, January 6. Hamady will confront a Tigers team coming off a 62-33 non-league loss to Clio (Clio, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
The Hornets (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI). The Dragons come into the Flint Metro battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Swartz Creek was overwhelmed by Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI), 55-40, in a non-league battle.
