The Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), 61-24 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Royal Lions go into the Big Northern test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Rockford Christian was trounced by Sterling (Sterling, IL), 51-50, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Johnsburg for a Kishwaukee River test on Friday, January 6. Harvard will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 52-27 non-league win over North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 6-10.
