The Howell Vikings basketball team (St. Charles, MO), was nudged 54-48 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO)
The Raiders now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aquinas for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Pembroke Hill will battle a Saints team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS). The Saints record now stands at 6-1.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Blue Springs South edged Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO), 39-32, in a league battle.
