The Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) basketball crushed the host Kelley Mariners (Silver Bay, MN), 67-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Agates (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Gobblers go into the AA Section 7 test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Aitkin was trounced by Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN), 74-45, in a non-league test.

The Mariners now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ely for a A Section 7 test on Saturday, January 7. Kelley will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 64-61 league win over North Woods (Cook, MN). The Timberwolves record now stands at 8-1.
