With the victory, Lumen Christi upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Archangels host Unalaska (Unalaska, AK) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Malamutes play the Birchwood Christian Warriors (Chugiak, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Newhalen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 34-23 non-league loss to Glennallen (Glennallen, AK).
