The Maple Grove Crimson basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Totino-Grace Eagles to 54 in the Crimson non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crimson now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnetonka for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Maple Grove will battle a Skippers team coming off a 63-49 league win over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Skippers record now stands at 8-2.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Robbinsdale Armstrong triumphed over Elk River (Elk River, MN), 57-49, in a non-league contest.
