Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 57-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Tipton upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Tigers host Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Calamus-Wheatland won 49-41 in their recent non-league bout against Mercer County (Aledo, IL)

Next up, the Knights clash with the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. North Cedar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 68-53 league win over Central City (Central City, IA).
