Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plainfield Central upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Wildcats host Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Naperville Central won 59-25 in their recent league bout against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Oswego will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 59-50 league loss to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL).
