Washington High School Basketball - Pope John Paul II knocked off by Puget Sound Adventist

The Puget Sound Adventist Sharks basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting Pope John Paul II Eagles to 17 in the Sharks league triumph on Thursday.
The Sharks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn Adventist for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac contest on Saturday, January 7. Puget Sound Adventist will meet a Falcons team coming off a 46-32 league loss to Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Yeshiva (Mercer Island, WA). The Lions enter the 1B/2B Sea-Tac contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Northwest Yeshiva was outscored by Northwest Christian (Lacey, WA), 32-23, in a non-league contest.
