Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 58-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sandia Prep upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Sundevils host Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Albuquerque Academy won 34-27 in their recent non-league bout against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)

Next up, the Ravens play the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Rio Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Elks/Elkettes go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM).
