Rossview Hawks (Clarksville, TN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN), 43-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rossview upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Springfield (Springfield, TN) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 4A District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the War Eagles play the West Creek Coyote (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Sycamore will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Coyote come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 72-39 non-league loss to Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN).
