The Wiscasset Wolverines basketball team (Wiscasset, ME), was toppled 28-14 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME)

The Bereans now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Islesboro Central for a D South battle on Saturday, January 7. Temple Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-13 non-league loss to Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

The Wolverines (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Bulldogs come into the C South battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Hall-Dale beat Mount Abram (Strong, ME), 78-39, in a league battle.
