The Twin Cedars Sabers routed the host Tri-County Trojans basketball team by a final score of 38-16 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Sabers face the Diagonal Maroons (Diagonal, IA) in a Bluegrass game, on Tuesday, January 10. Twin Cedars will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.

With the defeat, Tri-County moves to 0-9 on the year. The Trojans host B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA) to face the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar game on Friday, January 6. The Bears enter the game with a record of 2-6. B-G-M lost 57-27 in their recent league game against English Valleys (North English, IA)
