Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 40-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Capital upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to play the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Sundevils come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) in a non-league battle, on Monday, January 9. Piedra Vista will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
