The Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), 54-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Belen went down by Goddard (Roswell, NM), 35-25, in a non-league test.
The Bulldawgs now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Hobbs for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Las Cruces will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
