Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE), 29-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clarkson/Leigh upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. North Bend Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
