The Pee Dee Academy Eagles basketball team (Mullins, SC), was overwhelmed 50-27 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC)
The Swampcats now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Collegiate for a battle on Friday, January 13. Laurence Manning Academy will battle a Titans team coming off a 55-30 league win over Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Titans record now stands at 5-2.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marlboro Academy (Bennettsville, SC). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Marlboro Academy trounced Maranatha Christian (Florence, SC), 57-16, in a non-league battle.
