The Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) basketball knocked off the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), 40-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Northfield (Denver, CO). The Nighthawks go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Northfield notched a victory over George Washington (Denver, CO), 67-45, in a non-league test.
The Scorpions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Pueblo Centennial for a non-league test on Friday, January 6.
