Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Cypress Creek Bears (Orlando, FL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Horizon will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Blue Darters enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL).
The Bears now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colonial for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. Cypress Creek will confront a Grenadiers team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Lake Nona (Orlando, FL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 2-7.
