Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Katy will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Texans enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX).
The Falcons now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. Royal will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 1-1.
