With the victory, Akron upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Briggsdale (Briggsdale, CO) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Briggsdale won 62-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Lone Star (Otis, CO)

Next up, the Cougars play the Caliche Buffaloes (Iliff, CO) in a 3A/2A Lower Platte challenge, on Friday, January 12. Sedgwick County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
