In Friday's non-league match, the host Alamosa Mean Moose basketball team scored a tight 32-31 triumph over the Sanford Mustangs.
In their next game, the Mean Moose meet the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Alamosa will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO).
