The Pirates now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisbon for a Tri-Rivers battle on Tuesday, January 9. Alburnett will battle a Lions team coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.

The Irish (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars come into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Starmont was routed by Midland (Wyoming, IA), 51-46, in a league battle.
