Arkport Central Bluejays (Arkport, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY), 70-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Arkport Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Avoca Central (Avoca, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Avoca Central lost 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Addison (Addison, NY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Campbell-Savona Panthers (Campbell, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Alfred-Almond will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 52-12 non-league loss to Dundee/Bradford Central (Dundee, NY).
