The Alta-Aurelia Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Southeast Valley Jaguars to 46 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Storm Lake St. Mary for a Twin Lakes contest on Tuesday, January 9. Alta-Aurelia will battle a Panthers team coming off a 84-23 league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-9.

The Jaguars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen come into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Roland-Story was routed by South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 63-55, in a league contest.
