In Friday's non-league outing, the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX), by a margin of 66-45.

The Bulldogs (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Frenship smashed Midland Christian (Midland, TX), 61-59, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Plainview for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Andrews will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-41 non-league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.
