In Friday's league outing, the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans (Waterbury, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), by a margin of 85-46.
The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats go into the Naugatuck Valley outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Seymour was trounced by Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 75-66, in a league outing.
