The Wildcats now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olney for a 2A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, January 12. Archer City will confront a Cubs team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 7-9.

The Dragons (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 13 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Tioga trounced Era (Era, TX), 45-36, in a league battle.
