Ohio High School Basketball - Cambridge knocked off by Beaver

The Beaver Beavers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Cambridge Bobcats to 68 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.
The Beavers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martins Ferry for a Buckeye 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Beaver will battle a Purple Riders team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Purple Riders record now stands at 5-3.
The Bobcats (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Harrison Central ran past Bellaire (Bellaire, OH), 64-56, in a league contest.
