John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights (Bethlehem, GA), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, John Milledge Academy upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA) to play the Trojans in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 11-0. Tattnall Square Academy won 67-65 in their recent non-league bout against Crawford County (Roberta, GA)

Next up, the Knights play the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Bethlehem Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 81-51 non-league loss to Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA).
