Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Spring Hill Broncos (Spring Hill, KS), 67-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Valley Southwest upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Timberwolves host Center (Kansas City, MO) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Center won 52-27 in their recent league bout against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO)

Next up, the Broncos play the Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS) in a Frontier bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Spring Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Eudora (Eudora, KS).
