In Friday's non-league outing, the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Bolton Wildcats (Arlington, TN), by a margin of 79-67.
The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN). The Purple Wave go into the Division II-AA West outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Christian Brothers thwarted Helena (Helena, AL), 58-36, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Southwind for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Bolton will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 46-34 league win over Germantown (Germantown, TN). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-5.
