In Friday's non-league outing, the Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Burke Cougars (Burke, SD), by a margin of 63-43.
The Tornadoes (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Scotland (Scotland, SD). The Highlanders go into the B Region 4 outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Scotland was topped by Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD), 64-42, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Gregory for a B Region 5 outing on Friday, January 12. Burke will clash with a Gorillas squad coming off a 72-44 non-league win over Lyman (Presho, SD). The Gorillas record now stands at 5-2.
