In Friday's league outing, the Canby Lancers (Canby, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN), by a margin of 82-59.
The Lancers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers go into the A Section 3 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Lakeview was trounced by Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 75-40, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to MACCRAY for a A Section 3 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Lac qui Parle Valley will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 82-34 league win over Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.
