The Carmel Greyhounds basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Marion Giants to 52 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Friday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Carmel will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Shamrocks record now stands at 8-0.
The Giants (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN). The Archers enter the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Fort Wayne South Side was outscored by Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN), 50-40, in a league match.
