Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA) and the visiting Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), saw Catasauqua's basketball squad knock off Palisades by a count of 59-44.

With the victory, Catasauqua upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Rough Riders travel to Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Pirates play the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Palisades will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
