The Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) basketball nipped the visiting Cedar Park Christian Eagles (Bothell, WA), 51-49 in Friday's league test.

The Owls (4-6) will now prepare for their test against South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Falcons go into the 1A Emerald Sound test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, South Whidbey was tipped by Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA), 56-53, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sultan for a 1A Emerald Sound test on Tuesday, January 9. Cedar Park Christian will encounter a Turks squad coming off a 78-55 league win over Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The Turks record now stands at 7-3.
