The Central Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host East Iberville Tigers to 32 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Ehret for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Central will battle a Patriots team coming off a 40-36 non-league win over Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-7.
The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, L.W. Higgins was routed by Cohen (New Orleans, LA), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
