The Danbury Hatters basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting New Canaan Rams to 51 in the Hatters league triumph on Friday.

The Hatters now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, January 9. Danbury will meet a Eagles team coming off a 69-49 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.

The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Staples (Westport, CT). The Wreckers enter the Fairfield County contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Staples was outscored by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 48-46, in a league contest.
