The Denver Cyclones basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Union Knights to 48 in the Cyclones league victory on Friday.
The Cyclones now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Denver will battle a team coming off a 89-34 league win over Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The record now stands at 9-1.
The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines come into the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Dike-New Hartford dropped by Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA), 55-48, in a non-league contest.
