The Edison Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Laguna Beach Breakers to 44 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fountain Valley for a Surf contest on Wednesday, January 10.

The Breakers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vikings come into the Wave contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Marina prevailed over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 82-76, in a non-league contest.
