The Estacado Matadors basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Plainview Bulldogs to 41 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Matadors now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odessa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Estacado will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 73-38 non-league loss to Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 7-15.

The Bulldogs (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Andrews was routed by Midland (Midland, TX), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
