The Rivercrest Rebels basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Gladewater Bears to 55 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowie for a 2A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, January 12. Rivercrest will battle a Pirates team coming off a 70-62 non-league win over Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 12-7.

The Bears (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region II District 15 contest with a 1-5 record.
