The Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) basketball felled the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 54-39 in Friday's league test.
The Scorpions (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Kenwood (Baltimore, MD). The Bluebirds go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Kenwood thwarted Owings Mills (Owings Mills, MD), 59-30, in a league test.
The Gladiators now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County test on Wednesday, January 10. Glenelg will encounter a Wildecats squad coming off a 65-63 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 4-7.
