Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY), 52-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Gloversville upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Huskies/Dragons host Columbia Prep (New York, NY) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Spartans play the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots (Broadalbin, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Queensbury will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 82-24 league loss to Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY).
