Grace Baptist Academy Flyers (Ocean Springs, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX), 70-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grace Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Greenville Christian won 51-35 in their recent league bout against Delta Streets Academy (Greenwood, MS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 bout, on Friday, January 12. Iola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 17-10 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Robinson (Robinson, TX).
