Kentucky High School Basketball - Grayson County nudges Holmes

Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 70-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grayson County upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Iroquois (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-10.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) in a District 35 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
