The Greenville Comets basketball team scored 57 points and held the host North Mac Panthers to 43 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Greenville will battle a Hornets team coming off a 47-40 league win over Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 10-7.

The Panthers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Lincolnwood was defeated by Nokomis (Nokomis, IL), 47-46, in a league contest.
