The Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI), 60-52 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ishpeming for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Hancock will battle a Hematites team coming off a 65-46 league win over Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Hematites record now stands at 6-2.

The Gladiators (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Jeffers ran past Johnston (Bessemer, MI), 73-29, in a non-league contest.
